Q: How many drinks does one batch make?
A: One batch of traditional margaritas makes about
80-100 7oz drinks. Our experience shows that usually half or more guests
drink the frozen drinks even if you offer a choice. We recommend one
batch for every 25 guests. Extra mixes are $15.00 - $25.00 each and are
refundable if unopened.
Q: How long does the first batch take to
freeze?
A: About 45 minutes if the machine is indoors
(Approximately 75ºF); A little longer if it's outdoors and warmer. No
waiting between batches.
Q: Who provides liquor, and how much will I
need?
A: The customer must provide all the liquor. A
medium strength batch of traditional margaritas calls for 3 liters of
tequila and 1 liter of triple sec. Most other flavors use 2 liters of
liquor per batch. Ask for other recipes or visit our recipes page.
Q: Are other types of drinks available?
A: Absolutely. You can serve strawberry daquiris,
strawberry margaritas, piña coladas, rum runners, Louisiana hurricanes,
tropical punch, goombay smash, raspberry margaritas, go mango,
mudslides, banana daquiris, peach bellinis, and summertime lemonade. All
mixes can be made without liquor for kids!
Q: How far in advance should I reserve my frozen
margarita machine(s)?
A: We recommend at least 3 weeks for a Saturday
night rental from April through October and December. Make sure the
number of guests does not exceed the drink making capacity for each
machine, otherwise the machine will not perform properly. Ask about our
multi-machine rental discounts!
Q: What do I need when you deliver the machine?
A: When we deliver your machine(s), we will need
to speak with whoever will be responsible for operation of the
machine(s). We will make your first batch of mix and make sure the
machine is set up and operating properly, when we will give you the
operation instructions. Gratuities for the delivery are not required,
but are appreciated.
